On Sunday, as the governor of Oregon said he would put a stop to the violence in Portland, he unleashed the police on the citizens of the state. People threw eggs at officers in protective gear while the officers retaliated with efforts shown in this video.
The police declared an unlawful assembly and then began arresting people that were not press. After the night, they presented pictures of supposed weapons that citizens were carrying which included eggs, a few knives, rocks, and some homemade weapons made from pool noodles. They also complained that people were wearing protective gear while they were wearing profession protective gear and carrying guns, “non lethal” weapons, batons, helmets, mag flashlights, and handcuffs.
