In the middle of the day in plain site of all to see, Kenosha Police put 7 bullets in the back of a black man as he walked away from them. Even as the police union offers an explanation for why their officers did the unexplainable, the new information offers no excuse for shooting a person in the back as he walked away. The union put out a statement that says Mr. Blake fought with the police and was stunned, but got up and walked away to driver side door. More can be read here. The video of Jacob Blake walking to his car with guns drawn and then him being shot is gruesome but was captured by a citizen.
